you must be in NYC....right?

cause them rude mofos ain't helping nobody.....

I've never seen a woman NOT get helped to change her tire.....

but then again I live in the south :yeshrug:

As a northerner now in the south I gotta agree with this.
I've had car problems twice here and while waiting for roadside assistance multiple people stopped and offered help.

Driving through Louisiana I had a car issue and I can't even begin to say how amazing people were.

Just like every man should know how to cook, every woman should know how to change a tire.
People have places to be in the a.m. just like you do.
Better call roadside assistance or look like Mya if you don't know the basics of car maintenance.

Op I'm sorry no one stopped to help.
Get the damn roadside assistance girl.
It's well worth it.

A tire blowout in rush hour nonetheless is soooo dangerous.

Sitting on the hood of my car on the side of the highway at 7:30 am in 30 degree weather.

I work about 30 minutes from where I live and during my commute this morning my tire blew. I pulled over and put on my flashers hoping someone (preferably someone who knew how to put on a spare) pulled over to help....30 minutes later... No one.

So then I thought, "Hey...maybe they can't see me" so I proceeded to put on my coat and get out and sit on my car.... No one stopped.

I counted 4 different police cars that passed by and even they didn't stop. It sucks because my husband is the type that if he sees a car stranded he stops to help because he says that if it were me he'd hope that someone would help......

People suck! :mjcry:

That's dirty that the cops didn't stop for you. Protect and serve my ass.

But.... sorry if this sounds harsh... but if you own a car, you should know how to put on a spare. It doesn't matter if you are a woman, that's your car. You hold that L :francis:

Either learn how to change a tire or get roadside assistance...or both. :francis:

Changing a tire is not that hard or time consuming, and I have roadside assistance for like $12/mo...definitely worth it.

I agree with this assessment. But there is a lesson here that i'm sure most of the females will miss because of their selfishness

If the shoe was on the other foot, and it was a young black male broken down in the rain or cold, most females won't stop and help either

In psychology they teach you women are less likely to help because of blah blah blah

but human decency goes both ways, don't just pick and chose when it doesn't go your way, it just shoes how narcissist women can be

I actually agree

Changing a tire on an interstate could be deadly. Last time I had to change a tire, I was in the straight up and down hood and a Black man stopped to help me. Don't give up on humanity though.
