Jay gets criticized for not being a GREAT STORY TELLER, like that's the greatest story song of all time. "Bu-bu-but Check out Meet the parents", I mean it's a good song, but that's probably the only story telling song he has lol, Big and Nas made sure to have at least one on EVERY ALBUM! BIG had multiple story songs on every album (yes i know it's 2) I'll even give Jay credit on "No hooks" on American Gangster, but that's where it stops! :stop:

Jay-z does do any type of track, he has story telling verses, classic verses but he's not made many "story telling songs".
He doesn't make many party songs, make drug dealing songs etc.. Most of his songs are general songs which contains story telling, bouncy beats and flows, some songs are about his past, which contains some drug dealing and on.

Like
D'Evils (some of his greatest story telling verses)

Obviously he has full story telling songs like
Coming of age
Friend or foe
Pray

But as usual you birdbrain nikkas don't wanna let your birdbrains do the minimal amount of work it takes to fukk with Jay and hope that everything in music is spelled out for you.
