basically, you spot on. DC is in gentrification process right now.. lower middle class and poor are getting forced out to MD. MD still has some low rental properties for about 880.00 to 1200 a month

Yep, Los Angeles medical center. Man i wish my black folk would peep game, you can make a lot money in the medical field. I was looking at a nurses paycheck stub the other day and this chick makes 60.00 an hour. The nurses here are majority filipino and white, with a few sistas sprinkled in here or there.
You talking about AA's? Cause I know for a fact African/Carribean folks are pretty much deep in the medical field where ever there populated....I know there is decent sized crop of aa nurses in the DC area that come out of howard...

...for such a small major city the demand is crazyOP 35k is a good start if your young, single and childless fam, my godfather never made more than 47k up until last year when he got into managment...and is living a very comfortable life, set for retirement at 48 with a wife and 2 kids in one of the pricest areas in the country...it's all about budgeting living within your means and saving...

Your right i forgot about the African/Carribean nurses here also. Now that i think about it there may be more of AC than AA's
. I don't separate us like that tho, if you African Carribean or AA your still my people. DC is chocolate city i wouldn't expect anything less coming out of Howard. Bros gotta be eating good with all those AA nurses in that area, especially if you got your shyt together.
