men do a lot of 'overlooking' and don't get credit for that, unfortunately that's a decision made with emotion and not logic. much more overlooking than women do.

I think part of it is self esteem too. Some are just so happy to have a woman or aren't used to getting women that they overlook shyt because having a woman is better than not having one.

With some others they are so inexperienced (like dude in OP who was 19 when he started dating her) that they don't know what a woman with a regular sex drive is like .
