that era doesn't compare to the early to mid 90's by any means but that era of dame, irv and chris in the late 90's/early to 2000s was by far better than now

Crazy thing is all these dudes were in their late 20s at the height of their success.

Irv Gotti, Diddy, Dame, Birdman were all in their 20s.

It's crazy too cuz all of these 20'ish rappers nowadays couldn't find their way out of a paper bag, much less run a multi million dollar label.

Guys like Lil J, Irv, Suge and even Dame were systematically taken out from the game. Blackballed.
