I miss the old days when my folks would throw lil get togethers

I feel like the key is not to tell any dudes at all. My boys will usually hit me up throughout the night so that resource is basically guaranteed. So I tell as many girls as I can and if more show up than we can handle then I call back one of my boys. Thinkin about it its probably the girls we tell that run their mouth to other dudes asking if they are going lol.

You basically control the conditions with hotel parties.

We should start doing that smh. I never got to the point of the hotel party where it's just yall and enough females without a gang of dudes. Literally every one I been to either has too many dudes or is on the verge of being shut down by the cops. Usually both

my asian, mostly filipino or cambodian friends be on this shyt heavy.. be havin monthly damn near big ass bbqs and get togethers with a million bottles of hennessy and shyt. got they grand parents and shyt there chillen on the couch while the dad pouring shots for everyone rather they 16 or 36

they stay havin oysters on the grill

and they let anyone stay when they 2 drunk too

i done woke up in many random couches or beds after a filipino bbq the next day at like 1 pm and think they'd be mad but nah come down and they be like "you want some lumpia?!"

shyt damn near makes me wanna settle with a filipino or cambodian girl just so I can be round that element all the time

For real. My best friend was half Flip and there was an Fil-American group in the town I lived and every other month there would be parties at someones house or at a community building. Food, music, karaoke, and the kids would just have fun playing videogames.

Grown ups gamblin' and children geekin out on pokemon cards.

Im not even Flip but they accepted my family cause of how close we were to my best friend's family.

it's not only the kids but the adults too and that shyt is fukking us up. other people not only use those events to have a good time but to network and meet potential mates (which those settings are really good for)

My fam still does this, especially during the warmer months. Have this one relative with a big ass yard and on any given, warm, non-rainy weekend family and friends be posted outdoors chilling. Drinking until late. It's mostly old heads too so it's not a bunch a people on they phones and stuff. There's usually people of all ages though.

When a group of my folks family & friends came over, us kids knew that was the time we go upstairs.

We would be up in our rooms and we would hear laughin, music(alexander o'neal) and smell smoke.

We would be intrigued, so we'd sneak to the stairs and look down, tryna ease our way down. Then, one of the grown folks would get my folks attention and point to the steps, lookin' like And one of my folks would be like "GITCHALL ASS UPSTAIRS"

Do we even have get togethers at the crib anymore??? Seems like it's the club or nothin' wit us nowadays.

I would love to chill at the crib wit a group of couples/friends just playin music & drinkin

real thread. I remember seeing my folks on christmas like Family used to be over my grandma house like every other weekend, great time to be a kid...


I never had fun at a hotel party yo. Always not enough girls, too many people going in and out the room which starts getting the hotel staff ansy, nikkas wanna shoot the shyt loud af in the hallways, and when randoms show up it's always more DUDES.

Never stayed to the conclusion of a hotel party. Most got shutdown anyway

And girls don't come cause they know it's gonna them and about 12 dudes
