One of my best friends has been working with music with Malik during the past 2 years and they struck up a pretty nice friendship. He definitely still has it on the mic. I always was a fan of Malik and him and Thought had great chemistry. A shame his demons didn't allow him proper shine as a soloist in his own right in the mid-late 90s.
