Better days ahead

There is just too much in life to get you down,
You're in over your head and you start to drown.
It seems like life is over, your heart is filled with dread,
But don't sweat it because better days are ahead.
The sun may be hidden behind those ominous clouds of gray,
But it'll come out again, may not be tomorrow or today.
Do not worry, for it can not rain all the time,
Someday that sun will come out and it will all be fine.
It might take some time to clean up the muck and the mud,
It even might take some sweat, tears, and blood.
But in the end, through the pain and the strife,
You'll have such a beautiful garden of your life.
So listen, my friend, to these words I have said

When though. When do the better days start? I've been waiting my whole life for the better days thinking if I change this or that then finally I'll be happy and normal like every other human being on earth. Instead I feel like a ghost living the same day over and over running in place.
