Their thought process is probably:
— They wanna actually have the match with Oba Femi before they call him up.
— Wanna see if he can do the heel act solo dolo to see just how rounded a performer he is.
— Wanna cap off the storyline with Yung OG before he gets sent off.
Trick is honestly main roster ready though.

He has some kinks to work out, yeah, but he has that John Cena/Early 00s rock work style where he seems to match the energy and pace of whoever he’s across (See the Triple Threat Match & his Dragunov Matches vs the matches with Eddie Thorpe & Ridge Holland), whichis a gigantic benefit when wrestling more experienced and traveled opponents. Something he can’t get in NXT’s current Men’s Division.
I fully expect them to draft him up somewhere though
