Trick is definitely ready for the main roster, but the main roster is crowded to the point that Trick could get lost in the sauce.
I can see Trick/Oba going a couple of weeks longer, and I can also see Trick getting a short run as the TNA champ so he can get another accolade under his belt (and to give him one up on Melo).

You're right, but, people got to remember that NXT is development.

Trick got to be able to go back and forth based on what's needed.

He ain't Ricky Steamboat, he's eventually gonna go heel on the main roster. So, it makes sense.

We'll be Whoop'n That Trick when he comes up later in the year.

They wouldn't do shyt with him anyways. They just signed Penta, Fenix, Rusev, and Black.. Gotta push these dudes for six months to a year before HHH gets bored with them.

Plus, the midcard scene is already stacked as it is. Priest was a world champ last year, Drew was in the hottest feud of the year, Solo pinned Cody Rhodes, and LA Knight was the most over guy on the roster and all four of these dudes are stuck in the US title scene .

I can honestly see Trips just putting Melo and Trick as a tag team. I’m sure they’ll get a tag title reign, but the real issue would be their solo work.

I don't know how you made the leap that I'm "caping for triple k", but it will be cool to see Trick hold the TNA title for the reasons that I mentioned earlier in this thread.
By the way, I also enjoyed Christian's run as the TNA champon during the AEW partnership, but that doesn't mean that I was caping for Shad Khan's kid, either.
