I haven't seen any of the shows I'm mentioning so take what I say with a grain of salt, but I heard the original is definitely better than the remake for this one and if you're digging this you have to see Made in Abyss, I heard it referred to as "a better Kino's Journey than the Kino's Journey remake(and the original)"

Attack on Titan restored the feeling

Attack on Titan set the bar real high. It's the one anime that keeps delivering. Both the animation and story and are amazing. The manga is great too. The only series Ive been consistently checking for since 2012.
