Cut back on the smoking(2gs a month max) and cook at home. Sign up for Muay Thai/Boxing or some kind of skill courses so that you're doing something productive with progressive people and not just kicking it with the homies.

Trust me, once you get busy enough you don't even want to be high everyday because it slows you down.

Earn. Save. Invest.

ESI Money - Three Simple Steps to Wealth

You probably making like $1,200 a month right? Your bills shouldn’t be no more than $500 since you not paying that much in expenses. You should at least be saving $200 a month. That’s $2,500 over the year. It’s small. But that will get you started. Set a budget. Stick to it. Save the rest. Invest it to grow it. As you get better paying jobs don’t immediately go out and try to spend it all (i.e. lifestyle inflation). Before you know it your account will be pretty.

You have to help yourself. While spending money is an issue, it actually sounds like you're lacking meaning for your life. It’s easy to spend money on dumb shyt, when you literally have nothing else going on for yourself.

What do you want to be? What do you want to do? You don’t have to go to college, but what about a trade school? A training program? You say you want a better job, but how? What skills do you have?

You should sit down and really think about where you want your life to go. Make a plan. Stick to it. And then everything else will fall into place.

You can pay off that debt in a year. Focus on learning a skill, trade, or IT certifications (I suggest A+ to begin with - look at the 6cert subforum on here)
Quit your habits and form new one's. Having an addictive personality isn't always a bad thing you just need to channel that energy into other things.
Begin to learn how to cook and buy groceries, only eat outside on occasional days, never on impulse. Find another hobby that is stress relieving that doesn't involve weed.
Use half to 75% of your pay checks once you land something to pay off your loans especially the payday loan first. The following year, save that same amount of money to plot your exit plan from your parents house.

I'll be honest and believe your biggest problem is you are still heavily dependent on your parents nest. Begin to write a plan on how you will eventually move out.

Since you dont want to do traditional college, see if you can use the Pell Grant to go to trade school or see about going to Truck driving school for your CDL. Stop smoking if you cant maintain to quote BG " You wanna have things and be sober or be loaded with nothing "

I'm about a year older and got a few G's less than you do to pay off. My job ain't shyt but I'm planning on having it all paid off before 2019's up. I'd suggest pinpointing a path you wanna go down for your future, and allocate savings toward some stepping stones towards it. Keeps your finances true, particularly in your case where you don't have an unreasonable amount of money to pay per month for your necessities.

Does your mom cook? Stop eating fast food. Does the pizza place provide free food? You could eat healthy with the menu. Salads, pasta with veggies, pizza with veggies. That will at least cover one or two meals per shift. Get ziti or lasagna dinners, and save half for the next day, unless you work at a pizza chain that makes crap food.

Do Amazon Mechanical Turk. It's mostly surveys that pay a few cents, but if you do 20 a day, everyday, you could make an extra $20-50 a week.

Budget.

Imagine you make 1,000.

Do it like this:

KEY EXPENSES
RENT: 100
SAVINGS: 200
DEBTS: 200

That gives you 500 blow on whatever you want. And this way you're done with your 9K debt in under 4 years. In those 4 years you will earn more so it will actually be faster.

Also: do not E V E R take a loan or use a credit card.
Use this rule: "If I can't easily buy it twice cash, I don't buy it"

Also: take your job serious. Be on time. Don't hang with people who gossip. Handle your business. Express ambition (ask for trainings etc. and get them certs).

You got this breh. You young and this is little money (you'll see in a few years that this was an easily solvable situation)
