Remember that the old testament was written in old hebrew so when we do our best to translate it to our language, some words and meanings become obscured. In the old hebrew, I know scriptures like that could have many different meanings like "I have talked with God as you would a friend face to face". And also take into account that many times throughout the old testament, God communicated with man disguised as an human being as well.

Alot of us get slipped up because we take to the scriptures too literally and its not our fault. They have just been translated millions of times so the more new editions come out, the further we get from the original text and meaning.

Doesn't the Bible claim to be the infallible, inerrant word of God

Talking about religion is almost like talking about aliens...ALL these years and nobody has ANY PROOF yet. You can tell me about nikkas dying and coming back to life and they seen god or the government is just hiding aliens from us...but breh, NOT 1 LICK OF PROOF ABOUT EITHER????????

I won't disrespect the bible like everyone else on here, but that first paragraph is why I don't even pay attention to it anymore
