This is the only time I will ever make a post but I’m in a very….. serious dilemma. Just gonna vent about it honestly
I thought the best way to deal with it is telling strangers on the internet. I’ll try to make this simple as possible.
About a year ago, I moved into this really nice house downtown with some old friends, I’m gonna call them Carl and Taylor. They’ve been dating since middle school and both are close friends with my eldest brother. These two have been through a lot together and have put their engagement on hold for a time being since Taylor wants to finish her PhD. Regardless, things have been amazing this year, the household has been peaceful and fun. We actually renewed for another year.
Here comes Weston, he’s a childhood friend of Carl. Weston is a really nice guy but self destructive. He recently got dishonorable discharged from the Army and has gotten himself into heavy debt. I can tell Carl has a lot of love for him despite his flaws. He was there for Carl when his father was murdered and when his mother got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
So to help him out, Carl let him stay in our house rent free and has even gotten him a job as a virtual assistant at the same company he works at…..
Now here’s the situation, Carl and I are the main ones that pay the rent and everything else. Taylor doesn’t work since Carl wants her to finish her degree. But she handles all the housework and cooking, it’s a fair trade off.
I hope y’all know where I’m going with this…..
Three weeks ago, I came home in the morning from a night shift, I didn’t see Carl’s car cause he wakes up early to go to work but I did see Weston and Taylor’s cars. As soon as I step into the house, I see Weston coming out of Carl and Taylor room. He was shirtless, but I didn’t think much of it at all because when is this mf never not shirtless??? Dudes looking at me wild but I didn’t think too much of it because I was exhausted.
I just go straight to my room and sleep. A couple days after that, I went to Weston room to get my Nintendo switch back. I find a nasty ass thong sitting on my damn switch on the floor, once again I wasn’t think too much about the thong. But I was really angry about my switch though, stupid a$$hole also lost my breath of the wild physical case.
The night after that when all of us were home, Taylor and Weston went out to get tattoos as both wanted to get some new ink for our summer trip in Barbados. Carl opted to stay home to prepare for an important meeting the next day and I just wanted to study.
They deadass didn’t come home until 2 am in the morning. I went to go get a snack when I saw them laughing and bumbling through the doorway.
At that moment I knew something wasn’t right but I was too scared to admit it to myself. Weston finally confirmed it four days ago, when him and I were driving back from the gym. He’s been sleeping with Taylor for the past two months and to add salt to the wound they have been doing it on the couples bed and in Taylor car.
I’m sitting in the drivers seat looking at this dumbass, like why the wtf did you tell me? ??Dude said the guilt has been eating him alive and he’s been having a hard time looking at Carl.
I asked him
Me: Will you stop sleeping with her now that you told me.
His stupid ass: I don’t know
The same day, calmly, I confront Taylor about it, this bytch lies straight to my face and I tell her what Weston told me. She’s crying, telling me that she’s only ever been with one man in her entire life, she never had a chance to be sexual free like other women her age. I told her I won’t say anything but this affair has to stop.
She agrees but I have an eerie feeling they still might be fukking.
There are a-lot of consequences that could come if I were to tell anyone especially Carl or my brothers. Plus we all need a place to live, our spot is perfect within the city and the rent is reasonable enough.
shyts been messing with my mind and I been on thecoli a lot more to pretend none of this is happening. This is something I would read on Facebook or Twitter.
Edit: Taylor refuses to break up the relationship with Carl because she fears it will take forever to find another good man like him.
I wanted to ask what would you guys do in my position? Should I just shut the fukk up or tell Carl? I don’t want anyone to get hurt because I’ve seen way too many instances of people getting killed. Or better yet what would you do if you were in Carls position and found out?
