I need to chill out on drinking (a hangover unappreciation thread)

Been down for the past week, doesn't seem like my mood is improving either. Last night I decided "fukk it. I'm going to this birthday party and I'm just gonna drink the pain away."

Big mistake.

I just got home and it's like someone's using my head and stomach like a punching bag. Alcohol is demonic.

I wish I was a lightweight. Last time I went out, I had over 10 doubles of whisky and rum and then 3 shots of patron to top it off. I was a mess the next day.

First off that's wayyyy too many for a first time (imo).

Second of all , welcome to drinking

Third, never ever ever ever use drinking as a coping mechanism. Use it as a treat, and maybe as a mood relaxer, but never depend on it to get over something.

Also, sips of water between drinks and Gatorade afterwards (along with crackers and bananas as a snack) can deter a hangover. Ideally.

You can guzzle vodka and chase it with water and will barely feel it the next day.

Best thing you can do now is grab some BC headache powder, take 2 with a caffeinated drink and grab a big deluxe breakfast from McDonalds.
