How do you deal with a dude like this..?

Today I was doing some free weight work (curls, military press) in front of the mirror at the gym and some dude behind me is waving his arms.

Turns out he wants to see himself while he is working out too.

So I take a step to the left. Dude doesn’t even smile or nod thanks. Some people have no gym manners.

Pathetic.
Nah that’s BS.
There are ways to be polite.

If it was me, I would just move so you weren’t blocking my view. But since you moved, he owed you a thank you.

It’s like when you’re driving and you let a guy pass you or take the intersection. You better get that Thank You Wave 😡 We aren’t animals out here.

I like that he's in shape, but generally think it's corny when that's your calling card at 35+.

Climb mountains, hop on a motorcycle and explore the world, raise a cool family, bike around cities, row on lakes, etc.

To me, the "I'm in really good shape at X age" thing is only interesting if you're an interesting person doing interesting things.

Actually you were in the wrong here breh. When you go to do any curls in front of the mirror, gym etiquette is to stand a little bit out of the way so you aren't blocking anyone who is working out behind you's view of the mirror. He should have said thank you but I can understand his frustration.

Maybe because I’m in the gym 5 days a week but this is normal for me to see. Most black men who don’t neglect their health are this athletic in their 40s.

Lebron is older than him.

I’ll be there in another year or so and I got him by 7 years

40 is only old if you’re a complete jackass to your body in your 30s.
dude looks about 5’5 no shade but it’s more impressive if he had mass

I couldn’t tell how tall he was but the exercises he’s doing don’t look hard, you just have to practice them.

I’m way older and do the Sharon Gambu exercises that she posts, 6 days a week, just as a warmup, with no problem.

The more that millennials come into this age group with all of the knowledge they’ve been blessed with, that age shyt will be obliterated.

I always hear nikkas younger than me talking about their knees, like their decline is a right of passage, and not neglect due to lack of knowledge and laziness.

I do everything that I have to do on the floor, in this position.

My knees feel no different than they did when I was 15 and I’ll be 50 in 3 years.
