This album is a certified hood classic. When this dropped everybody and their mama was bumping this. Album is filled with nothing but street bangers. Now granted, I'll admit the album starts off strong then kinda tails off towards the end. But the good definitely outweighs the bad on here.

we repped it hard in our lil section of Jerz, but honestly this album aged like milk like most Ruff Ryder material. theres maybe 5 songs i still play

i feel thats the case for both of their albums, it gives you a look back at exactly when it was being made but not alot of it aged that great

I always said that Money, Power, Respect are the better of the 2 but both of them aren't that great. The LOX overall may be the most underachieving group of all-time.
I think solo wise, that's were the underachieving shows. Although that was mainly Kiss problem. I always felt Styles and Sheek had stronger solo discographies then Kiss. Kiss had chances to drop a classic that would put him on a higher level but never made that mark.

the sound is kind of aged on certain tracks but the lyrics and performance is not. this shyt is classic for me. this and the first couple X albums get play still...its the other Ruff Ryders stuff that i cant really bump nowadays...but that shyt was classic to me. if fukk you comes on in any situation i immediately get the :demonic: face and get extra hype

The beats. I guess it's retro cool to like that sounds now but back we laughed at those cheesy sounds Swizz was on. There are some bangers on here but for me that sound was old when it came out. Doesnt surprise me it didn't age well.

I played a few cuts and that's it. The lox to me was always very disappointing. They never had one undeniable album.

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
All For The Love > Every Swizzy produced beat on We Are The Streets.

Remember buying WATS and being extremely over whelmed cuz i was the biggest Swizz Beats fan at the time. Shiit was bunk for me, it just sounded so unpolished and uninspired. It was like an album chalk full of Swizz throwaways.

Imagine putting on a disc only to listen to one song (Ride or Die bytch).

IMO, Opposite of H20 > WATS.
