You could say its current use was coined by Tariq and has gained popularity among those who fancy themselves "woke." But its origins aren't relevant, when you consider what a code is - a set of strict rules by which a group abides to preserve a certain order - and how white supremacy is a value set that governs how black people are treated under this system. It stands to reason that developing our own code, one that instructs us on how to move as unified community through this prison in which we find ourselves, would seem to be an intelligent countermeasure against theirs. :francis:

idk about it being around for decades.but there have been variants of it I heard before

but its been misconstrued by the net, and if we just talking coli, here to as well.
nikkas now use it as a way for them to defend there favorite rappers, athletes, black celebrity etc(anyone famous who nikkas live vicariously through:mjlol:) when there is a critique on them

if nikkas was really about "stay on code" then the stephon clarke incident with his tweets wouldnt have nikkas here be on some "idk if im gon be riding for this guy after what I read:patrice:" nikkas would brush those aside and stick to the program.

Staying on code should be a secret too. The biggest thing about the internet and these online personalities is ---- all the codes and secrets are being talked about on public domains where everybody can listen and watch. I hope Black folks know other races are watching everything they say online.

What kinds of rules would you include in this code? I don't necessarily agree with this idea, but it could make for an inteteresting thread.
