g.unit couldn't pop any r&b records off or get classic records out of fukking bobby.brown or goddamn j.lo

I disagree...Put It On Me was a definitive Ja cut...I could actually have seen 50 doing the B Brown record & especially the J Lo record. 50 could have pulled off that low grovel hook and you wouldn’t have thought anything of it...The Bobby Brown song becomes bigger if 50 had it during his peak hours

fif & the unit ain't even think like that

they had the momentum to pull off whatever when they were hot

but they ain't naturally have that feel for those records

murder inc. put out fire from ashanti & lloyd

their ears were clearly tuned different over there

it's not a knock on fif or the unit

ja & the inc. were successful for different reasons & that's fine

ha

see the paradox is the element that cats make fun of is what makes greatness

irv has said it at various times they were catching waves from the biggest records the records that sold diamond their inspirations were bigger than rap

when you look at the artist that dominate the all time sales charts it's dominated by melodies that get stuck in your head

ja was one the early rap nikkas who understood to take advantage of the greatest instrument there is which is the human voice

fif like many rap nikkas tried to play it off & make fun of nikkas singing on records

but he himself had to turn around & try to get in that bag

that singing shyte makes hits & makes paper

you see more & more cats putting they struggle vocals down now

it's murdaaaaaaaaaa

ha
