When I started my path I indeed needed a reason, once I accepted Christ for who he is I grew spiritually and knew without a doubt his power and if he was real, it's not about how or why you receive the word, it's about how you live and what you do with the word once you have it in you.

The question was answered the statement your referring to was what someone told to me that allowed me to open my heart to God, it planted a seed in me that got me off my butt and said what do I have to lose if I give this a chance, theirs a deeper story in it but it lead me to a church service where after it I knew thats where I wanted to be. Sorry if I didn't make that clear.

You wanting a believing man is the reason you dont run into many who tell you they dont believe in God. Black men know that if you tell a black woman you dont believe in God right off the rip there is a 99% chance she is going to stop messing with you...................immediately. Even black women who havent set foot in a church in 10 years and havent seen a Bible 8 dont want a man who admits to not believing in God. So what black men do is say they are spiritual, they dont believe in the crookedness of the church, or they just havent found one that meshes with their beliefs. That keeps you on the hook while yall figure out if you are right for each other everywhere else. During this time if the woman determines you are a good man and she wants a legit relationship with you, then she gonna overlook the man not going to church.

Its mind boggling how black women will accept a man who SAYS he is a Christian but is out in the streets doing all types of shyt before they accept a legit good guy who says he is a non-believer.
