were opposed to Christianity before I came on the coli. I've never met a black man who was like this. :why:
Sure there are those heathens who do heathenous things but they still believe in God and have a cross tatted on them somewhere. I even know thugs who post bible verses everyday.
It's like I refuse to believe it. It's downright baffling, it's like yall say this stuff for shock value:patrice:
Do you guys really believe in no God? What made you this way?:lupe:

I would say its not so much a Coli thing but more of an internet thing.

But then again I do believe in God and my faith is very integral to my life. :lawd:

But I would never force my views upon someone else. Discuss them? yes, gladly.

Religion is brainwashing. It makes you put up with all sorts of injustice by fooling you into believing that when you die you will be rewarded in the afterlife, while all the sinners will be punished. People don't really believe that though because they cry when someone they love dies, if they really were going to heaven, you'd be thrilled. It's all just used to control the masses & get you to agree to things that you know in your gut ain't right.

How has religion controlled anyone?

its this simple:

A) correlation:
most athiests are people that think very deeply about the world around them and theoretical subjects such as religion, aliens, astronomy, time, inventions etc.
most deep thinkers are introverts
introverts gravitate to websites like this; message boards
thus...theres a high correlation between introverts, athiesm and message board posters

B) in real life, you are meeting men that would likely not want to discuss such matters because they fear being judged or are trying to fukk you. To avoid talking themselves out of p*ssy they either lie or avoid the topic completely. For instance, yesterday a girl was telling me about some school related problems she was having and how God will guide her through. In my mind I went: "damn...another brainwashed religious chick"...but in order to not offend her I merely said "I hear you" and then changed the topic lol. When I know a person well I have no problem spewing out my opinions on the matter of religion. But a girl I just met and am tryna fukk...i'll hold off. I dont want to offend anyone. Online...dudes know nobody is watching them and let their real opinions out. It's like viewing racist white people on youtube channels.

It's really that simple. i'm not even fully athiest but just believe that these mainstream religions are nonsense and refuse to partake.

Most black men of my generation are. when it comes to religion.

Black churches are a black female dominated space full of women with regrettable pasts of thottery and men from an older generation.

Exactly. Only nikkas heavy into the church are 1) :wrist:, 2) Cowards like those older generation nikkas or 3) nikkas simply there to scour for reformed thot p*ssy.

It's on my to-do list to join a church and run through a bunch of gullible women. :demonic:

There's free reign and anonymity on the internet.

Can't decry religion to your religious family, friends or associates like you can do on here without incurring substantial blowback. .

I personally avoid religious debates on the internet for the sole reason that most people who are usually willing to engage in them (on both sides) are often very ignorant of the subject matter and very emotionally invested in being right.

There is almost no such thing as a productive religion discussion on the internet.

I save those topics for real life discussions. :jawalrus:

I know I sound very elitist and dismissive... but I'm not trying to be. I just simply didn't join the coli to discuss the far reaching implications of the council of Trent and Martin Luther's 95 theses. Most post I see that attempt to discuss religion and athesiesm are borderline remedial at best. :skip:
