You're right. I wasn't thinking first three albums, just three excellent albums in a row. Your post was clearly about the first three albums, I just glossed over that.Juvenile Hell is not that good.
I agree with Tribe tho. Totally slipped my mind.

@Big Mel Redman also swings a batting average half as good as Reggie Jackson. Which is apparently why other rappers talk backwards. Or something.
It doesn't matter though, Red's ape ass stans will find a way to justify all his trash lyrics and goofball songs because there's no reasonable discussion to have with stans. Seriously, some of you weirdo ass cats need to take a deep breath and get a new script with "it's not possible to like hip hop if you don't like ___" routine. I pray that you have some opinions that don't fall in step with what everyone else has told everyone else to think.
Redman is like rahhh rahhh like he had cerebral palsy. He couldn't be beat if you ran with 21 Jump Street or 90210. He wastes nikkas like toxic and is wet like galoshes. So don't sleep on his Huffman and Koos.
I've been having this discussion with my peoples since way back. I like a handful of his joints just fine, but the whole "Red is arguably top 5" shyt blows my mind. He's an obnoxious, dirty looking, tissue-in-his-nostril, stank blunt smoking, yelling ass gimmicky m.c. to me. With wack lines galore delivered with an obnoxious enthusiasm that somehow sells the lines to a lot of people.
The latter part of his catalogue has been especially horrific. And his entire image as this roachy gremlin version o Tommyf Chong is tired as fukk. He became such a caricature of himself in film and on tape I can't even take him seriously. He's the father to Luda's style. And I don't mean that in a good way.

I think Red maybe is just off.....a little. Strange fun fact. I always assumed Red was a rather large fellow. I bumped into him (literally) going to a gym in Shaolin and he was significantly smaller than me. Kinda effed me up a tad. Sticky Fingaz too. My body moved his punk body. I used to think rappers were superheros. Turns out they just small nikkas with a gang of lip.

You hate Redman like I hate Kanye. I disagree with your assessment of Redman but I pretty much can replace the highlighted part with exactly how I feel about Kanye West. I'm a use it in the next debate I have with someone about him.
Lol most of those lines you're quoting are all from the same song, his single off his second album. Did you ever sit with some Redman albums? I think you might feel differently if you go back and relisten. There's some artists I didn't get the hoopla for during the time or even now and then I go back and see what others were talking about, even if they never turned into my favorites, I understood the reason they're liked.
How's Sticky small ? I met that nikka is above average hight, how big are you then ?![]()
Cause the lineage is basically Redman > Eminem > Kendrick
Redman featuring Reggie Noble & Uncle Quilly
I always like Red. My only issue is I think his albums have way too many skits on them. But lyrically when Redman go in he go in!
I was a Lord Finesse fan but his punchlines were very basic and mediocre. To me his skills came from his rhyme patterns.I. I truly despise everything about Kanye. I actually don't hate Red. He has several songs in my rotation. I just never understood the idolization of him. At all.
II. I've spent way too much time with Red's albums, man. And I picked that one song to illustrate that even in a single song I can pick out a dozen garbage, nonsensical lines. I feel the same way about Lord Finesse, who I always kidn of liked but also thought spit a lot of wack punchlines that people overrated.
III. I get why Red is liked. What I will never understand is the Red arguably has the greatest catalogue in hip hop and Red is top 5 and Red is top 10 shyt.
IV. That nikka actually looks like the personification of a stank blunt.
Redman in his prime is incredible

And I see with Redman. I have him top 10 because I love his first three albums and think they're all classics. But yeah if you're not a fan of his music overall then I see being perplexed by his high ranking on people's list.
