Me and my boy lounging and conversing about our adolescent years and he brought up one in 97 when me him and 15 of our other friends from my hood (Co op section 5 Bx) went to bay plaza raided a clothing store and we all came out with avirexs , pelle pelle etc if that occured in 2015 they would broadcast that shyt on NY1 with crisp footage requesting heads to notify crimestoppers . Thank god im not an adolescent now because the shyt I partook in back then I would have been incarcerated without a doubt

Main thing I remember about getting away with shyt in the 90s that wouldn't fly now is when I used to smoke weed and we were able to just walk down the block chiefing.. go to the park, chief.. basketball court, chief... shyt is unheard of these days I'd imagine.

Not just that but if you had a criminal record back in the day it was really easy to hide it. Now a days they just go on the computer and boom they got everything. A minor bogus theft charge back in 2006 almost cost me an apartment I was tryna rent.
