Why should anyone feel ashamed to take advantage of a safety net they pay into personally from their very first to very last paycheck?
It anyone should be ashamed to pay for their groceries its these fukkin crooked ass politicians gaming the system with insider trading/voting to raise their own salaries/accepting lobbyists "donations" etc with complete impunity.
But they have come to find all they have to do when confronted is say "its them dang n words and mexicans taking ur tax dollars with their welfare queens" and that is all the distraction they need. We right back at eachothers throats while they sneak on out the back door with the bag.
