I got some during the pandemic back in like summer 2020 or so. Wish I could get some again but they said something about needing proof I had a job or something like that. With all the time I spent working at a grocery store and Walgreens, I never saw anyone make a fuss or question someone else using food stamps while paying. I say let those people do what they want to feed their families. Food prices have been going up and if people wanna take advantage of food stamps to survive, I'm all for it. Better than them robbing someone.

I legitimately was given ebt but ended up getting a job. Forgot about it and had like a 1500$ balance. I checked it one day and was like oh shyt. I used all of it. My Greed got to the best of me because obviously I was paying city and state taxes.
City investigators sent the letter and they interviewed me and had me sign off on a payment plan. Had to repay about $2k in ebt.
Not gonna lie getting ebt when I needed it was a major help but Damm getting 300/month for food as a single man , I was eating better than when I had a job. Fridge was always full with seafood, crab legs and other shyt. I dont shop like that with my own money.

In Washington state you get paid the maximum even.if you get like $10 in stamps.Can’t lie I wish I had some stamps right nowmy younger cousins come to my crib like it’s 7/11
I qualify for $38 of stamps but get $250 because of public health emergency and WA asks the federal government for more funds.
