to get really good at pretty much anything, you have to put in a lot of workthe sheer amount of time you have to put into a game to get to that level makes it not worth it.
I read an interview where the #1 guy in the world in Guitar Hero said he'd go to work for 8 hours then come home and put in 8 more hours of work in Guitar Hero.
basically dude's life was work, GH, then sleep.

I was trying really hard to be competitive in tekken 6 when it first dropped
then I was like
what am I getting outta this
I should've stuck with it![]()
I meant in terms of noteriety...evo is easily the most well known tournement of its kind...probably the longest running tooHow is it not even EVO status when the first prize gets a million while Flocker(guy who won UMvC3 at Evo this year) only got like 5000.

I didnt say you COULD become anything you want just off hard work. but in general really good musicians, skill sports players, actors, etc. hone their craft for hours.ok smart ass, tell me one other thing you currently do that you alot 8 hrs a day to (besides work). if it's that simple then you should be a beast in anything you want (not only video games) because nothing is stopping you
