I had a friend who had linked up with a girl who he knew in high school. They kicked it, got drunk & he hit. A month later she told him she was pregnant. He was happy to be a father. Long story short... she was already 3 weeks pregnant before they even linked up. She didn't want to be with the dude who was really the kid's father because he worked at UPS. My friend was about to graduate with his Masters & had the more "promising" future. He didn't find out until 3 months after the baby was born when the actual father found him on FB & told him to get a DNA test to prove it. He was heartbroken because he was actually happy he had a daughter... but he said something felt off from the moment of birth. Tore him up inside. He told the girl to come get her daughter & never spoke to her again despite her trying to reach out to him for 2 years, even as much as flying to the city where he stayed & renting a hotel room down the street from his crib telling him she needed closure. He rejected... & it took him years to ever trust another woman again.
