And Bobby Cox only got one rang out of that. :wow:

We shoulda won that joint against the Twins and in 96 vs the Yankees. That Twins series was half screw job and half Lonnie Smith being a buffoon.

But anyway, my dad used to swear up and down that Glavine wasnt shyt and he would rock him. Id just sit there like :rudy:.

Crazy to think he could have made a name for himself in the NHL also. 69th overall pic in the 1984 draft. Ahead of Brett Hull.

all the Braves pitchers were deceptively athletic. all were damn good hitters for most of there careers. Wasn't an automatic out like most pitchers

The braves are the best team with the fewest pennants.

You don't even know what a pennant is do you? :heh:

Ok, so Bobby Cox "only" won one ring but outside of 1996 when were the Braves the actual favorite in a series that they lost? The Twins and Jays were both favorites and the Marlins had an all-star team in '97.

and his boy Lemke

growing up with TBS ive probably seen 100x more Braves games than my lifelong fav team (A's)

Greg McMichael and Wohlers closing out games with the starting pitching was just too much
Fred McGriff, Javy Lopez, Eddie Perez, Raphael Belliard, Andrew Jones, Ryan Klesko, Kevin Millwood, Andres Galaraga, John Rocker. that was my childhood :to:. I literally couldn't name 3 players off the current Braves roster. Havent watched baseball seriously since around 05'. It was officially a wrap when Chipper and Bobby Cox retired :to:
