Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
could an argument be made for it bein' his 2nd best though? :jbhmm: better than blueprint? :patrice:

@Cloud McFly what you think?

@Buckeye Fever

Hmmm...I do enjoy that album. His tour with Mary J Blige was decent too...

But I dunno where I'd rank it ...

May be 4th for me personally.

My favorite Jay album is Vol. 3. Then I gotta give BP1 and RD their love.

I honestly don't revisit AG as much as I do his other work

after vol 2, jay zs voice went to shyt, people talk lyrics and flow and when mic presence is whats most important and that point he lost it completely. Anyone notice how bad he sounds on that recent Drake track with Kanye, dude had only one bar but it stuck out in the worst way

I actually think it's better than The Blueprint. Whereas The Blueprint has two skippable joints (That N*gga Jigga and Hola Hovito), American Gangsta has only one (Hello Brooklyn)

It's highly underrated ...he was spitting crazy on it

I agree. Minus blu magic and Weezy singing hello Brooklyn jay was on his shyt. There were no weak verses.

Say hello and no hook are personal fav

1. Reasonable doubt
2. AG/BA
3. BP
4. VOL 1
5. VOL 3
