Here is the thing about this issue. They question a man on which type of women he is most attracted to. When they ask White men, he can just respond with hair types (Blonde, Brunette, or Redhead), He does that, and it is already assumed he is talking about White Women. When that same question is asked of Black men, that option is not really available to us.

So him coming right out and saying Black women when in fact Black women are his preference or even if Black women are not his preference is the safe bet. Having White racists angry at you over your statement, because really the complaints will be mainly coming from White racists thinking they have a means to call a Black man racist, is a lot less bothersome for a Black man than having Black women angry over your statement. White racists will complain mainly online about it in their chat rooms. Black women will possibly confront the man in person, call him to the Red Table, have think pieces made using him as an example of well off Black men only desiring White women, so on and so forth. So his answer was the correct answer no matter his true feelings.

If its his preference, more power to him, but if hes trying to pander, then he might have fukked himself over. Most of the same women on social media will not praise bw for saying the same, in fact they will cheer for the opposite.


And even though its not completely the same, its a reason why those white actors beat around the bush when it comes to saying they prefer their own women..... there are wayyy too many people in this country who focus their attention on who famous people date, so by being bold in your preferences can potentially alienate your fanbase if the majority aint who your trying to pander to.
