Dont pay these brehs any mind this thread pops up every couple of months with dudes complaining about standard business practices with no intentions of ever really getting the game. You know who the serious fighting game brehs on here already through the coli discord let these brehs howl at the moon dont take them serious.

shyt I saw someone created a thread TODAY about how Garbage KOF 14 was graphically. You know KOF 14 the game that came out 4 YEARS AGO that everyone bytched about 4 YEARS AGO. I was going to post in it but then I said whats the point??

Dont worry there will be a thread created by someone calling out brehs in a fighting game with no intention of ever playing its the COLI breh:blessed:
WTF are you on about?:mjlol:

I asked an honest question and I got normal responses which answered my question.

I loved SFIV but eventually they released all the main things tied together, why is it such a stretch for someone to assume that the definitive version would include everything?:mjlol:

Don't defend this cockeyed nonsense
I'm not defending anything I'm making sure nikkas keep the same energy

Capcom got plenty of issues worth addressing, but piling on them for a practice that spans across genres that Capcom was one of the last to adopt is disingenuous

If this situation didn't involve 2-3 characters (out of 30+) that you happen to love would this thread even exist?

The point I was making is Capcom re-released a definitive version mis-advertised as including everything. It's not until you do a random Google search that you find you're wrong.

I am not speaking about every company and their shytty business practice to string along DLC but when a game is successful and it's time to re-release a definitive version that usually is as cut and dry as it sounds but not with Capcom.

That's extortion.
What was I wrong about? If you want to play Sagat, Cody, etc you can unlock him:manny:

And I already acknowledged that Capcom is bad at communicating with it's consumers, but you're conflating too many things under one umbrella

But again I stress Capcom needs a PR overhaul

Nicca, I keep going around in circles. :mindblown:

I've never played the game before so my complaint of characters not being included at launch for the *DEFINITIVE!!!! edition is valid.

Yes, companies sell DLC but when they market the final/latest iteration as the definitive version then that should be so. Capcom re-released the game again this year without including all of the characters.

Me as a newcomer just wants to play with all the characters as this is marketed as the last/latest version of the game.

SFV:AE was re-released a month after the Season 3 Pass was available so if that is that case why isn't that not included in the base game of the re-release?

As of today Capcom randomly announced a Season 4 Pass so going by their history what am I to expect -- the next installment to be missing the season 4 characters?:hubie:

That's a very rational and logical way of thinking.:what:

I agree and it is terrible.

Well, I loved Street Fighter IV and they did this same practice then with the DLC but when they re-released the special editions of the game they actually included everything prior to it coming out.

There's a difference.

Now they're literally releasing an "update" without all the updates

As much as I love any company like Capcom I can't support that.:manny::beli:

I guess I'll just put off on buying Skreet Fighter V for another year then.:mjcry::francis:

What fighting game released with only half the characters of the previous iteration of the series only to sell you the other half at a later date?

:gucci:

Then capcom had Sony pay the development cost of the game so they are technically double dipping with this kinda shyt. Atleast with other fighting games you are sold a complete game from the start so the extra characters are a bonus. Killer instinct did something similar but atleast that game was free so paying for extra characters wasn't a big deal. I paid 60 dollars for SF5, and I gotta pay another 40 for the rest of the characters that should have been included from the start.

shyt is Destiny in fighting game form.

you cant compare this trash to SF4. That game released with 26 characters from the start, a respectable amount of content for $60.

SF5 had 16 characters with missing game modes for $60

Not only did u pay 60 for the base game and 40 for the new dlc Capcom as of yesterday just advertised the first of the Season 4 Character Pass which will most likely cost the same amount again.

Then they'll release their true definitive edition which I'll be waiting for then E3 will come around the corner and they'll advertise a new Street Fighter probably an Alpha or Vs SNK reboot then nobody will be playing SFV so you'd have wasted all of that time waiting for the game only for it to be abandoned in months.:ohlawd:

What do you mean? Explain :dead:

I've gone from:noah:...:damn:...:heh:...:whoa: in a matter of 1 week since ordering the base game.:mjlol:
Redirect Notice

If you dont buy any of the dlc costumes the game will attach ads to the base costumes and loading screens.

They claim you can earn more in game currency from them but this is after they nerfed the amount you can earn beforehand.

And nikkas defend this trash.

My favourite.
Other characters are impacted by costume ads, including Dhalsim, who now proudly promotes the Capcom Pro Tour on one of the skulls that hangs around his neck — skulls that (apocryphally, at least) come from the children who died of a plague in his village.

Why would you vandalise your own product? :mindblown:

I'm definitely not copping if I have to be bombarded with ads

:dead: ridiculous.
