Well the truth is alot of people our age are already stuck in that mindset.I know, we are a lost generation....
We need to teach our kids to build businesses and not be others employees
Its cool if college not for you, I'm not going back either, but nikkas dead ass settling for $14 an hour warehouse jobs and hoz settling for $14 an hour call center jobs and calling it a day, then act like they're shytting on everyone else
The sad thing is people would rather make statements like this while they're broke then get a job that will put money in your pocket. Acting like they're doing something with no money or job. I prefer higher paying jobs(like anybody) but I worked my ass off in the industry I'm in now to make a really good wage now. When I first started in this industry I started at minimum wage, but it put money in my pocket and I didn't have to bum off anybody.

That's what growing up in the school system does though. Teaches you how to follow instructions, do what you're told, follow the lead of an authority figure. Nothing about school teaches kids how to be independent thinkers, how to make the best life decisions, how to build something from nothing.I know, we are a lost generation....

Just to clarify - there is nothing wrong with being an employee. (Almost) every business needs employees. There's no shame in being one. If everyone was an entrepreneur, this economy wouldn't work. That being said, we could benefit from young people learning the value of thinking for themselves and making good decisions, rather than just following strict mechanical instructions on how to complete tasks.

Its sad how much of our people arent business minded when they come into a good bit of money. If we can change that then we would do better.

my friends use to say this all the time. They use to low-key clown me for working at McDonlds while they were broke. Apparently even not working is higher in the totem pole than working at McD.
Working for low wages is what it is...nothing wrong but not saving it and not working on an exit is dumb
