I played Madden for the first time in years today...

I bought Madden 12 for $6 and still feel ripped off.

Not me, I paid $100 for that Sunday Ticket and sold the game for $60

I'm torn on next gen. Everything we seen looks shytty and just like current gen. BUT I've bought Madden pretty much every year since 2002 except for when 2k5 came out. It's become tradition at this point and I'm not naive enough to think me not buying will make them change anything.

IMO madden is piff when when playing with your friends on the same console. That online shyt is trash to me because of the lag

True playing friends irl is better than online...However I don't know about you, but at this point in our lives me and my homies are far too busy and h ave other things going on to just go other each other's crib and play games like back in the day

yea i feel you breh i only play my shyt like once or twice i week cause i aint got time for it like that but when i do play its usually when somebody comes over im over somebody else house

They need to trash that tiburon team already.. If EA had the NBA license the same way they have the NFL, they would have served you NBA LIVE AS IS, Jesus glitch and all.

Madden is Live status, there is just no NFL2K to expose them.

Funny thing is....EA tried to go for exclusive NBA rights, but Stern said no. He likes the competition.

Hopefully we get more competition back in the game, but I do think it's unfair to completely shyt on EA Tiburon...I blame the suits.

I hope the NBA doesn't get that itch to go exclusive once Stern is out...Those exclusive deals hurt ALL gamers.

I hate to bring this up again, but I used to be a HUGE madden head. This generation has been straight trash though. The gameplay just never felt right IMO. I LOVED the games on the PS2/XBOX, I don't care what anyone has to say...THOSE games were solid and FUN.

I even used to do all the mini challenge drills and take the $5 off each head who wanted to challenge me

They change the rosters, add animations, add gimmicks (remember the vision cone) . Its a game that doesn't really deserve full priced annual editions. There's just not enough stuff you can do to reinvent football annually to make it worthwhile.

All they need to do is improve the gameplay...that's all that matters in the end.

I don't care for all the flashy menu stuff...cut all that nonsense out and focus on the damn game.

Game is still fun, but I do think the online explosion and striving for realism (let's not kid ourselves, the maddens before this gen were cheesefests whether some wanted to admit it or not) has hurt the game.

It might be because I am a PC head, but the players don't move as fluid as I want them to. There is also a slight delay when you try to audible and call the play with the clock winding down. Running up the middle feels sluggish in terms of performance (A Known PS3 issue apparently) and jerseys popping in and out of players arms is unacceptable to me in 2013
