Im agitated in the heat
The heat gets me tired
You sweat in the heat
The heat can be dangerous even in limited exposure
I can’t sleep in the heat

The cold wakes me up in the morning
You can dress for the cold
The cold can be dangerous too in extreme cases over prolonged periods
With enough blankets you can sleep in the cold

I had to get one of my a/c units looked at in July due to it not working. It felt like a fukking rain forest in my room…unbearable

What say you?

I work outside in the elements. Hotter is more easier. You got to run utilities to feel with the cold. Can’t just ignore it. It’s people who won’t even turn their ac in inthe summer to save a buck. Ain’t no nobody not turning in the heat I the winter to save money. You can layer up all you want, you going feel that cold. I hate when my feet and hand s get cold. I got woken up out my sleep last night because my feet was cold. Woke up at 1:30 am and didn’t even go back to sleep. Starting off the work week all wrong:snoop: I can’t even fall asleep if my feet cold

I prefer the cold, but the last time I expressed how much, I was accused of being various configurations of "Fat" and "Cac", but It's whatever the fukk, 'cause I can thrive in the chill the way I'm built. :manny:
Sleeping in a cold room after a fresh warm bath is a sleep aphrodisiac.
Chicks know what's up once I get under that duvet hit the fetal with the cervix pillow tucked in.:ahh:
Out in the elements, a drinking flask of quality Rum and some proper mittens and I'm good on anything up to below -20 F 'cause there isn't any cure for windchill hitting your bones, but that's extreme.
Working in the heat is something I've endured as a labourer in construction but the heat in America is far different to the heat in the Caribbean. We got breeze coming off the ocean. 108 in the Caribbean is way different to 108 in New York and now I see why them 300lb linebackers were falling out like Canaries in coal mines due to that heat in Florida. Heat ain't no joke.

If I had a choice of 100 degrees outside while working or 32 degrees, I’m taking 100 every time.
:gucci:
I remember being outside for 3 weeks straight in Germany in the middle of winter and that was probably the most miserable time of my life.
:damn:
Working in 110 degrees in Djibouti was light work.
:wow:

Yall must not been working all that much in the cold because if you bundle up, your body takes care of the rest in the cold. I've worked in 5 degree whether but never felt the cold, unless it was windy. You can always hide from the cold.

Compared the heat. You got dry heat, which is easier to work in if you stay out of the sun and keep hydrates. You can realistic do heavy labor in up to 105 degree weather...at least I can. I've seen cacs struggle and turn pale at 105.

But then there's humid heat. 90 degree heat with high humidity is considerably hotter than 100 degree whether yet far more common. Your body gets stuck in a state where it's too humid to sweat so you can't effectively cool down. fukking pain. Its why people get heat strokes. Nobody gets a cold stroke.

There's a reason more people willing live in single digit temperature regions than triple digit ones. You can't hide from hot humid whether.

Hot temps with high humidity just saps all your energy and makes you want to not do shyt. I work construction and the summer months are miserable when it hits 90 plus with high humidity. I’ll take cold temps over that especially working outside. You bundle up right you don’t feel shyt.

I been working outside the last month in Denver and now I’m currently upstate New York. The high today will here I’m working is going to be 17 degree. And I’m outside almost all day in my job. My body is ok. It’s my hand and feets I can’t warm up easily. Hand warmer, merino wool gloves. It don’t matter. And I grew up near Lake Michigan my child hood. Never lived in a warm climate state.
