I Realized Something....When was the last time you Heard a Love Song?

I'm over here bumping Stevie on this beautiful Sunday morning, especially this song:



And it hits me why this world seems colder and so far gone into Revelations....we haven't had a single genuine love song for almost a decade and some change. Everything is geared towards frustrations, sexual desires, turnt, kill, being greedy, but no emphasis on how much you love or feel towards a human being. We are so distant to the point of making traveling moves to find forbidden fruit (I must get to the airport), and saying "fukk that nikka", but we can't confide into each other's flaws like maybe just maybe we need each other.

Hell, even cacs stop singing about love on a guitar or with autotune. Its getting to the point that society itself is accepting the cold and callous ways of the enemy and thus why there's none stop confrontations, arguments, fights, no welcoming demeanors, and all around a separate fruition of acceptance.

TLDR: The lack of love in a song and the push for individualism is causing so much malice in the atmosphere

Even that seems harder to come by. Shoot, Musiq dropped a album last year with Hit Boy and it didn't hit as much as his previous work (and I actually enjoyed that album).

Its sad breh. Hell, I swear R and B peaked in the 2000s. and never fully adapted to the modern times which is unfortunate. I shouldn't have to keep playing the same era of songs, but like with time...the memories of how good it used to be trumps over the modern coldness of modern time.
