Education definitely plays a role, no doubt, but your first sentence makes it seem like if you're not educated there is no way you can have a good conversation with someone. Peter Jennings didn't even finish college but I bet you could've had a good conversation with him.

I guess I should just refer to intelligence in general. You definitely don't have to be educated to be intelligent.

SASmith's style of speaking adds flavor to First Take. The show is rather bland & boring when SASmith is not featured. I don't watch if SAS isn't featured.

He's eloquent. He's provocative. He's colorful.

He has that Greek chorus function goin' on too, I guess. SAS reacts to Skip's BS in the way that viewers like to think they would react if they were present in the studio tryna shut Skip DOWN.

Time constraints breh. Ain't enough time in the telecasts for both of them to get their words in (especially during halftime). Plus they go off topic too much.
