I remember 400k/s was living it up, I'm getting 2M/s on Comcast. What is the deal?

50mb/s = megabits, not megabytes. 1 megabit = .125 megabytes, so 50 Mb/s = 6.25 MB/s
Yea I came in here to say this. Mb does not equal MB. One MB (byte) is equal to 8 Mb (bits). So your download speed is 2MB* 8 Mb for around 16-18 mbps connection, which is above average in the us

I have 50 mega bit and on hard wire connection I usually get 6+MB/s d/l from torrents and news groups. To think I use to get excited for 120 kb/s back in the day :wow: :to:

So dudes are downloading movies in 7 seconds?

When I used to download Dexter episodes, I was happy with 300 k/s.

I gotta find out more about 50 m/s.

Since I don't download hardly, not much I can do with those speeds, especially since my hard drive is 350 GB.

Here's mines:

Yeah, you don't need anything faster bruh. These dudes in here be on that "What you say Comcast" type shyt
Yeah, they COULD give us 200mb down and now break a sweat
But we don't need all that. Only EXTREME bootleggers who make a living off bootlegging "could make use" of those types of speeds

I get like 60mbps down, but when I was getting 15mpbs down... nothing was different
I used to wait like 15min to download a movie, now its usually under 5min :manny:
