some fake ass code written by some nikka who wasnt even around during the prime of the samurai era, but its a set of rules no hitting in the back or on the ground etc. you had to fight fair, which samurais definately did not do

Breh Im shocked that aint been remade. I could see this being an online hit. Youre spot-on with the "no two matches are alike". Definitely threw a few controllers at the wall playing with friends

I mentioned this a while ago in a thread about games that need to be brought into the new generation. Bushido Blade was weird in that I never really knew how it got into my game collection. Wasn't a game that I would personally have asked for then. Think my dad's friend gave him a bunch of DVDs n ps1 games when he moved or some shyt. I dunno. But I played a bunch of that game and a big reason was because I was amazed at how quickly you could die. Had some good times with it.

Not really...all that similar to your idea but kinda in the way it goes about it is the PC game Chivalry Medieval Warfare. It's pretty much online death match with swords, bows, and the like. You can die in a single hit from a well placed shot, and the game is honestly really fun. Probably as close as we're gonna get to that online BB idea
