I mean what's the point if you gotta pay the shyt back? I understand emergencies, but who needs a 25k limit? I guess I can't really say much since I got 10500 on my Discover, but I don't use it much because all that gotta be paid back.

THERE ARE ALL TYPES OF USES. BUSINESS FUNDING IS ONE THING YOU CAN DO. THERE ARE QUITE A FEW HUSTLES THAT YOU CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF WITH CREDIT.

Because you have to have credit but you also have to be mindful of your utilization ratio so you might as well have as much as possible because 10% of $30k is much better to have then 10% of $3k. It’s a great tool if you’re responsible

a good point nobody mentioned. Just imagine what the monthly balance on a credit limit like that. We love to tell people to get credit and not focus more on them getting their money up first. This is how people get credit miss one payment from a brief period of bad times and end up having to default or their score going down drastically

Exactly. And people expect to start making the money back immediately, and get stuck with high balances.
I got an aunt who has had bad credit for years and years. Past year she has improved drastically and keeps constantly bragging about how her score is real high now I forget how much maybe like 770 plus or something
all she talks about. Says oh how she can get a great house now. She had help from most of us in our family last year with paying her rent. So she was supposed to have a lot saved up.
now she is always complaining how she don’t have enough money to help her daughter pay her out of state tuition fees. She got many scholarships so her tuition went down drastically but the same aunt bragging about her credit score and had her rent covered by us most of the year can’t put together a few thousand for tuition

I was a preferred member for my bank so they offered one and still denied me.
I tried to get one of those apple credit cards too and some other one I forget it was a special offer I got in the mail.
