I had Sergey winning going into the fight. Didn't think it'd be that big of a gap. B-Hop needed to keep the fight close and make it dirty.

this is what impressed me the most in the fight. sergei is a better fighter than i thought.
Kovalev fought a very smart and disciplined fight. His stamina was correct. I think BHop as some of us underestimated what Kovalev really had. That was due to the fact that we really never seen Kovalev in a good fight with anyone of note. His boxing, speed, and footwork was excellent. It would be a great fight with him and Stevenson, but I definitely think Superman is a problem for him because of HIS speed and boxing ability. I like Stevenson, but Kovalev really looked good tonight, make no mistake about it.
