We attempted to get grants from these large foundations shelling out millions of dollars to other organizations but would not look our way because they so-called don’t fund “direct services.’

“Our hands were full picking locks to human cages, we didn’t have time to participate in glorified begging from the nonprofit industrial complex only to be turned down,” she said.

Barnett explained that Kardashian “linked arms with us to support us when foundations turned us down.”

“We and our clients and their families have a lot of love for [Kardashian] and are deeply grateful for her,” she said.

:manny: Him and his wife are doing more than the black actorvist calling him out. He got nikkas out of jail can you say the same thing?

Him and his wife?

No, his wife and it's only because, unlike her husband, she has no talent to fall back on so she is going the Jane Fonda route and going political to stay relevant when her looks fade.

And best believe it's a gang of people and only Kim gets acknowledged

What lie? Kim kardashian did not fund the two black women that got nikkas out of prison?
You mad gullible if you think that was on the strength of Kim . Of couse she's one of the biggest celebrities in the world so she gets the press its something for them all to attach their name to. You think she just up and decided to fight for equality and fairness?

I know she contributed monetarily. I posted this in the past. Your framing that she's doing more than anyone else because of that is bullshyt. It's even more bullshyt when you claim that Kanye is responsible for getting people outta jail.
