I saw Face/Off for the first time in 15 years and that movie actually kinda sucks.

When I first watched it I was like but the movie was pretty garbage, at adopting your sworn enemies son after killing him. LOL at no one noticing the difference between nic cage and john travolta (given it's part of the conceit) but I mean the action wasn't even all that great. It can't hold a candle to classics like Hard Boiled, Hard Boiled 2, A better tomorrow, and the like

this.. conair.. the rock.. gone in 60 seconds

type of movies that i loved growing up.. and will watch when they pop up on tv these days.

when did he become the actor that everybody shyts on? i'm not saying he doesn't deserve the criticism..

but dude is an best actor oscar winner with another nomination.. how'd he go from that to b-list laughingstock?
