10 minutes of the actual movie when the first land and when ole boy is bursting out of his own skin while the girl is stuck in the room with him.Can't download until i get to my pc.What's happening?

So the spores is a form of black goo that causes some type of aliens (back burster and throat buster here) but not the classic xenos?

I swear if they fukk this up I give up on the franchise. 
After the train wreck of "Prometheus" I have zero patience any more. How do you fukk this up? I seriously don't get it. You've got one of the most iconic monsters in cinematic history and a decent amount of lore to back it up.

what the black goo does and anybody with a brain can figure out the black goo created the aliens but i dont believe the engineers created the black goo. Im sure they'll touch on in a future movie.

It has to be.
Again, I don't get what the problem is. People thought the movie was gonna be something that it wasn't. I thoroughly enjoyed it for what it actually was. Plus, for anyone not purposely playing dumb, there are more than enough clues that we are headed down a path that will lead directly to Alien. I don't want a prequel series like Star Wars where the story takes a back seat to showing us characters we remember and dropping references to what we know will happen. Is it very ambitious and thus vulnerable to not working smoothly? Yeah. But I'll take ambitious over pandering to the crowd anytime.
To be honest, I can't believe I am saying this, but Prometheus only ranks above AvP2 and AvP in my opinion. Even Alien 3 and Resurrection are more tolerable than Prometheus. Visually stunning, but drops the ball on expanding the lore, just unfortunate...
