Car mods always seemed weird to me cause there is no insurance claim on them after an incident. For example, had the rims not been stolen , but dude had instead totaled that same truck on the highway, Geico would only reimburse him for the original cost of rims. Even if he makes a claim he is only getting the 3600 wheels/tires replaced only.


Same goes for those engine mods folks be doing on muscle cars. If sht goes south you are on the hook for the twin charged block you just had to have.


To do stuff like this, you gotta be comfortable losing everything. That 16k spent on rims better be your McDonald's throwaway money. Clearly this dude had light pockets.

It’s generally accepted that any mod you do on a car won’t make you any money. It’s more of a hobby thing. That’s why Hondas are popular, because they are cheap, easy to fix and can be heavily modified.
