The famous to gentleman ratio was by far the highest with Mariano Rivera when I met him.

Most athletes/famous ppl dont want to be bothered. If you're over 18 asking someone for an autograph you need to get a life.

However, the funniest thing I've ever witnessed a buddy of mine do was walk up to Kobe Bryant, look puzzled for a second, extend for a handshake and say "wait, youre the guy who took Brandi to the prom right?" shyt was hysterical....if youre going top approach someone like that you gotta have something good.

Never had alot of interaction with celebrities.I remember Bill Cosby not staying after to sign autographs speaking at a graduation,I remember Greg Anthony stopped signing autographs at a Modell's in a NJ mall 10 minutes early and disappointing everybody.Kerry Kittles almost ignored me when I was at a graduation in Pennsylvania. This was during his rookie year had me like at first but then he somehow notice me and gave a half smile nod. Coolest athlete cats I met were Donyell Marshall and Lloyd Daniels at a charity basketball tournament.Chris Morris formerly of the Nets was pretty cool as well.

I've seen Tracy Morgan quite often especially around Caroline's Comedy club..... I first looked over and saw this lil short chubby dude with this tall chick.... I was like

We were leaving a Yankee game and just happened to run into the spot where their bus was loaded. We just missed Mariano signing a bunch of autographs. I'm not an autograph guy but would've made an exception for him.

Anyway, we did get to see the rest of the big names get on the bus, then watched as A-Rod waved to us, then got into a separate limo from the rest of the team and dipped.

Friday night at the Marriott after a coaches symposium we're walking through the lobby and a middle aged Puerto Rican woman walks up with her 12 year old son asking for a pic. Deion fully extends his arms, grabs lil man by the shoulders flings him out of his path and walks to a group of dime hoes to take group photos.

I never had Deion be rude to me. I can't rememeber how many times I've met him. Maybe at church. And then one day on my lunch break I saw him being drove around by his driver and they pulled up next to me. I hit him with the head nod, and he hit me back with the head nod.

But the REAL dude you don't wanna meet is Emmitt Smith. That dude is a prick. Only rude athlete I've ever met in my life. Scratch that, him and Kenyon Martin. Everyone else has at least been polite especially since I dont ask for pics or autographs

On the other hand tho Deoin is prolly tired of having ppl bother him since 1988, at the same time he's at a camp that ppl paid money to attend, and he should at least be cordial. Or have someone make an announcement that he can't take pics, sign autograph for ppl. That way nobody even has to ask.

hell yeah fukk that nikka he came and spoke to some kids at my job not too long ago... speech talmbout how he aint have, i shyt you not, "PX3's" in his day and all the "pepperation" it took to get to the league and dipped. before that he took a pic with something like 10 out of 150 kids and our ceo. that wasn't even the shyt that pissed me off though, NOOOOOBODY got the chance to even get a pic or even say some shyt aside from this over-privileged ass white bytch thats in our PR and he was all grins and giggles when she asked you woulda thought she made HIS day

I never seen so many grown men get their dreams crushed thinking they were about to take a pic with their idol and Prime wasn't having it... IF they were lucky he would shove them out of his way.. But most of the time he would look past them like they didn't exist or say something to humilate them infront of their wives and kids..

Middle age white man stands inches from his face smiling and telling him how much he loved him..

Deion almost literally looking through dude like he wasnt there for like 45 awkward seconds until dude finally gave up and just walked away..

By Sunday evening it became a sport for me watching the different ways people were gonna get emasculated by him...

It got to the point that everywhere we went we were followed by a chorus of...

It was so bad that my mom came to a game and was gonna ask to take a pic and I told her to chill.. Because if he carried her like he did everyone else, I would have been on the news for getting into a physical confrontation with a hall of famer..

So I guess there is something about greatness in one area that makes you an awful human being..
