this film makes zero sense.

I dunno what to tell ya. Maybe watching movies ain't for you. You might as well do the activities you mentioned to be entertained. I think Wolf of Wall Street is way more entertaining than watching crackheads get high or watching pornography.

I dunno what to tell you. It was a great movie IMO. Based on a true story too. Like most great Scorcese flicks.

its called a boiler room. All they do is cold call any and everybody and sell them stock. The ppl they talk to are completely clueless as how the stock market works, all they're told is today they can buy for x and tomorrow they can sell for y. With y>x. Well the brokers don't really care if the stock actually goes up in value, all they care about is selling the stock as they make money regardless. What belfort realized and banked from was he could make alot more selling penny stocks than selling regular ones. Dude really had the slightest clue as to the industries or companies of those stocks

The Steven Madden IPO is what they did selling Steve Madden's stock. The guy that had a shoe company or something like that. If you keep watching the movie, you'll get to that part.

The movie was pretty long. Close to three hours. But I still enjoyed it a lot. Its one of those long movies that go by fast cause there's a lot of action.
