And our Best Defensive Weapon Jamie Collins.
my point was you can't complain about injuries when the Pats #2 and #3 weapons were both out IMO and done for the rest of the regular season.

Yeah I agree. At this point is who you put out there. Every team is banged up.
One of the reasons I love the system. They can get away with losing those 2 but not Gronk. Unless the main cog goes down in Gronk, Brady can still do his thing. Amendola is fine enough to be a replacement for Edelman (unless his fragile ass gets hurt again). We've seen countless RBs replaced in your system. But don't lose Gronk.
So everyone else is just dumb???...you mean to tell me that you have teams with decent QB's but can't/won't adopt this system that has gotten them to 6 SB and 4 wins in 15 years....
But damn near half the league tried the wild cat and read option when it was successful.....

"Patriots play in such a weak division"

The system includes everything from the Gm to the coach to the players. Its been proven that the team can succeed without having much help from the QB spot. Brady there just makes them that much better.

at the team succeeding without having much help from the QB spot....No.....that's the ORGANIZATION that includes the GM, coaches and players.....the system is what they go out and execute which is what the poster was referring to.......at the team succeeding without having much help from the QB spot....
interesting theory

Inside a room accessible only to Belichick and a few others, they found a library of scouting material containing videotapes of opponents’ signals, with detailed notes matching signals to plays for many teams going back seven seasons. Among them were handwritten diagrams of the defensive signals of the Pittsburgh Steelers, including the notes used in the January 2002 AFC Championship Game won by the Patriots 24-17. Yet almost as quickly as the tapes and notes were found, they were destroyed, on Goodell’s orders: League executives stomped the tapes into pieces and shredded the papers inside a Gillette Stadium conference room.

Did they not succeed in 2001 without much help from the QB? i mean 1 td and 1 int in 3 playoff games says a lot about how much they needed a QB.
did they not go 11-5 without Brady?
its been proven that the system they run is so good that u dont need to have an elite QB to succeed.
and yes the coach and GM are apart of that system
brady the goat right¿
mvp front runner right¿
right¿
its all about brady the gawd right¿One could argue that they were 5-11 in 2000 and started the 2001 season 0-2 with said system and NO Brady....
One could also argue that they were 18-1 the year before so that 11-5 season was a 7 win drop off....
