Feds shot the original plan down... I was gonna stretch all the way to Pontiac (which woulda been killer)...

You woulda had places like Downtown, Wayne State and New Center now connected by rail to Ferndale, Royal Oak, Birmingham ect.

That woulda been a GREAT look especially for the festivals downtown and the Midtown crowd...Royal Oak connected to Midtown?!

If you visit Detroit either Memorial Day or Late summer. Majority of our festivals in the Metro are in August except the Tech fest which is Memorial Day weekend, you see some of the most insane shyt downtown at that time.

So summer basically, but stay out the neighborhoods after dark in the summer...it goes down. If its night time and you aint with a tour guide....

I'm actually afraid to go back and see what my old hood has become. I grew up near Schoolcraft and Hubbell and I hear that both of the schools I went to are now closed (Cooley and Cadillac). Houses on my old street that were once worth 70-80k are now worth 2-3k.

I went out there to visit some friends and a nikka got out the car looking like . Never seen an emptier place in my life and i'm an eastside nikka.

My first time to Flint was for a basketball game. After we left we were driving home (around midnight) and got stopped at a red light. This cop comes out of no where with the lights on and pulls right next to me and says "what the fukk are y'all doing here!? get out and go home now!"

So we leave and get stopped by another red light and this same cop comes u[ and says "you dumb motherfukkers don't listen! i said leave and don't stop!!!"

From then on I look at Flint like

Nah, think more like hyper angry pistol men...in the whole hood. You don't know who on the edge. But truth fully if you just a chill person and can let shyt go you wont get fukked with...



But we can smell a outsider breh....the moment you say McNichols instead of 6 Mile...or when you say "LAH-ZER" instead of "LASH-ER" even though its spelled "Lahser".

Oh and the Westside and the Eastside are worlds apart...not just because detroit is BIG size wise but the west is more trendy, and the east is more in your face.

royal oak is like a place they'd film real world..lots of bars, its straight for what it is..seen some nice concerts at the royal oak music theatre
