I used to think that way but in actuality we need short sellers. A short or a bear in it's most simplest form is just someone who believes the price of the stock is overvalued and should be lower. The total opposite of a long who believes the stock is undervalued.
The reason I say we need short sellers is because those mainly are the people who uncover fraudulent companies, think Enron, WorldCom, Theranos, Luckin Coffee etc. Some shorts actually do a lot of research, so i like to view their side also.

man my girl and I watched big short again the sunday before GME took off. wow. Then when the GME halting happened it was basically the same as Goldman not valuing burry's position accurately until they had formed their own. Nuts.
I'll have to revisit this thread and find all these movies and watch them.

yeah this tbh will be the first i check out with my girl maybe sunday night or something. We've seen and lived by many storefronts that never have stock and are never open and I wanna know how the open secret works with other types of businesses. OZARK was really good with this but it got so dramatic (i love the show regardless) and I want it to get back to the money moves. LACE ME WITH GAME DAMNIT
