Inspired by the Helga's mom was an alcoholic thread. This mini series (10 episodes) may not have the realism of hey arnold. It does share the charm of vibrant characters, depth of different themes and the fact it is on Hulu. It's like a trippy fairy tale that can get dark. Like a more light hearted Pan's Labyrinth.
